About

Rachel Mounsey is an Australian photographer living in Victoria’s most isolated town, Mallacoota. Her work crosses boundaries between press, documentary and fine art and focuses on the everyday lives of people and socio-political issues of small town Australia.

Over the past two years Rachel worked as a staff journalist and photographer for Australian Community Media on the Far South Coast papers. She has recently moved to freelance work and her work continues to be published in Australian national media outlets including The Age and The Guardian.
